I am enjoying reading the blogs that are posted. I am wondering why more blogs are not posted? Please let me know if you are encountering any problems preventing you from fully participating in service-learning or with the blogs.
I am reading about how you are learning about other people who have different experiences than your own, that you are observing art therapists and their skill establishing a safe and creative environment, that you are considering parallels between fine art and art therapy and how the art of puppetry might be integrated into traditional art therapy, that you are listening to people who are participating in art therapy and learning from them, and reflecting on values as ethical dilemmas arise, and that you are assessing needs and drawing from your own skills to meet these needs.
Because the service-learning is such a big assignment in your class, I am wondering what you think about how service learning is helping you to learn about art therapy?
